How disappointing it's to even read this!?
Who is playing the card here? I just don't understand it! The ones who live in a place and the system are always blamed when something changes, even if it's the weather.
I don't want to get into the system now because that becomes political, but it's disheartening to know that if I were a Bangalorean who was born and raised there, who made Bangalore his home and built his house there, and now you say oh now Bangaloreans no longer can play weather card?! No, they don't! They don't need to begin with...!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Bangalore has never called anyone from other places through open invitations to anyone, "Please come to Bangalore". We moved to Bangalore for our personal reasons, we moved to Bangalore for our jobs, our careers. Everything was fine until everything started to dwindle, including your start-ups and people moving to Bangalore from all over.
But as soon as the city began to collapse under the weight of the burdens and problems we had created, we found ourselves incessantly moaning and complaining...
Namma Bengaluru is always a beautiful and pleasant city. If something has gone wrong or is still going wrong, blame us! Blame me! No one will ever talk about their role or contribution to the city because they are unable to contribute meaningfully to Bangalore or nature despite having lived here for 20 years as mentioned in the tweet!!
Statements like these simply imply that we are all playing the victim card and using it as a shield to hide our own failure in saving the beautiful and glorious city of "Namma Bengaluru"
