The points you mentioned are concerning: 1. Increasing violence in the name of language: Language-based discrimination and violence are unacceptable and can create a toxic environment. 3. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲: 𝗠𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲: Relocating from Delhi to Bangalore was one of the biggest decisions I’ve made in my career so far. Moving to another city means adapting to a new place, new conditions, and new people. However, I tend to think that every change has its silver lining. While the move has been both exhilarating and enlightening, it’s also been a period of adjustment. Adapting to a different culture and overcoming language barriers has made me reflect on the importance of empathy, patience, and openness. There have been moments where I’ve felt out of place, but I see these experiences as stepping stones toward becoming more resilient. What keeps me grounded is my belief in the power of collaboration and connection. As I continue to build relationships with my subordinates and embrace the vibrant culture of Bangalore, I’m learning the value of stepping outside of my comfort zone and remaining open to new perspectives. Relocating may have its hurdles, but it also brings immense learning opportunities. I don't want to get into the system now because that becomes political, but it's disheartening to know that if I were a Bangalorean who was born and raised there, who made Bangalore his home and built his house there, and now you say oh now Bangaloreans no longer can play weather card?! No, they don't! They don't need to begin with...! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Bangalore has never called anyone from other places through open invitations to anyone, "Please come to Bangalore". We moved to Bangalore for our personal reasons, we moved to Bangalore for our jobs, our careers. Everything was fine until everything started to dwindle, including your start-ups and people moving to Bangalore from all over. But as soon as the city began to collapse under the weight of the burdens and problems we had created, we found ourselves incessantly moaning and complaining... Namma Bengaluru is always a beautiful and pleasant city. If something has gone wrong or is still going wrong, blame us! Blame me! No one will ever talk about their role or contribution to the city because they are unable to contribute meaningfully to Bangalore or nature despite having lived here for 20 years as mentioned in the tweet!! This is why we had to break Bangalore into three parts. Due to excessive traffic and limited capacity, we used to face challenges in maintaining our SLAs and running our day-to-day operations. Our orders in Bangalore have been increasing at 30% MoM. We used to serve entire Bangalore from our single hub in HSR. This meant increased burden on our operations team & delivery partners and sometimes, delayed deliveries & customer experience also got impacted. To counter this problem, we have now divided Bangalore into three hubs. We have onboarded a lot of new plant sellers across Bangalore & distributed our delivery partners across these three regions. With this quick tweak in operations, we have managed to overcome all our challenges & come closer to our customers.
