Was recently introduced to RedefineFXs Unreal Engine 5 Niagara Fluids FX work/course and I have been having a lot of fun learning this so far. Compared to Houdini which I still love using as well, I love being able to use Unreal again, but especially for FX which I didn't know about this workflow for Niagara until I was introduced to it! I'm still learning/going through the course, while new for me it also feels really straight forward so far! Plus I think with my knowledge of using Unreal already, it has been helping a lot in a smoother workflow/learning experience. I still have lots to learn, but if my video uploads properly, here's some of the stuff I've made so far following the course! After I finish I'm going to try to create some of my own stuff and mess around and see what I can come up with!
Note:: I know the scene setup, quality, and lighting can be improved but I'm creating what my computer can handle while trying to make the FX the main focus. Since if you know Unreal it likes to crash here and there, which it has while creating some of these. 😅 But overall I'm still liking how its been coming out so far!

Playing around in Unity Engine with 3D scenes!
My plan was to create a simple low-poly cave with crystals in Blender and then put it into Unity, but somehow, hours later, I found myself knee-deep in building an entire world of rocks, light sources, special items, and even adding animations with DOTween! 🤯
Unity's easy start quickly leads you down a rabbit hole of creativity, and I'm loving every moment of it! Shoutout to the Unity community for the endless inspiration and support! 🙌

I found some time this weekend to finish my personal project. I wanted to try Unity 6, and the new Houdini 20.5, and the new sculpting tool for the base of the terrain. This project was done mostly procedurally. Not all assets are mine some are from Quixel, and a few trees are from the Unity Asset Store. There's still much room for improvement, but I decided not to spend more time on it. there is a lot of tech and challenges regarding large terrain.
I'm also sharing some HIP files if anyone is interested, though not all of them. Some HDAs are Havik tools that I developed, which are not included.

🌟 Excited to share my latest Unity project! 🌟
In this video, I demonstrate the creation of a stylized water shader and a realistic falling leaves effect using Unity's Particle System. Dive in to see how these dynamic elements bring game environments to life with vibrant water effects and natural leaf motions.
Check it out and let me know what you think! 🎮✨

Decided to get a little familiar with Unity for the latest piece 🏔️🌦️ 3D recreation of the Champions of Midgard Board Game! Made with Blender, Zbrush, Substnace Designer, & Unity! Got to make some fun shaders to replicate some of the basics we expect from our common Unreal Shaders, including ORM maps! This was a great dive into getting Unity working for me as an artist at a fundamental level. Hope you dig it!
