Training indirect costs—ever thought about their hidden impact? 🤔 When training is internal, it often means the team takes a productivity hit. Setting up the training itself takes significant time, especially if it's something new. Picture this: you hold a two-hour training session for 8 people. That's 16 hours lost from task completion. It doesn't mean those hours go to waste—far from it. But during this time, the team's productivity shifts from output to learning. What time is best for training? During company hours or outside? It boils down to the alignment with company goals. Take caching, for example. If it's crucial to the company's work, then yes, train on it. But if it’s not something we sell or handle, why delve into the nitty-gritty? We focus on what benefits our operations directly. Training should aim at practical application within the company. It’s about enhancing skills that drive our goals forward. Prioritize relevant training and see your efficiency soar! 🚀
