Building a remote online business whilst travelling: Expectation ☀️ vs Reality 👨🏼💻 The reality of what running & growing a remote online business looks like… Don't get me wrong, it's: 🌎 An amazing way to see the world 💪 Given me complete time freedom 🤩 A chance to follow your passions It's also: 📲 Being glued to devices (don't even ask me for my screen time report😬) 😵💫 Having to deal with lots of different personalities & situations 🤯 Having to do lots of tasks outside your comfort zone It's exhilarating. It's boring. It's satisfying. It's frustrating. It's effortless. It's challenging. It's business. EVERY type of work has its pros and cons - even dream roles or dream businesses. If I’ve ever made out business is easy, then I haven’t intended to. I believe in honesty and integrity. My online business has given me my dream life though, and this is why I do it, along with helping others to build their dream life as well.

I Design & Build Websites 💻 | Founder | Building Relationships | Transforming Ideas into Engaging User Experiences | Committed to Growing Businesses 🚀
The importance of building a relationship with your clients… I have been working remotely, for myself, for almost 4 years now. Living in different countries, travelling, working at different time zones. Sure, it hasn’t been all sunshine and roses all the time like most remote working people wants to tell you on social media, but it has been a rewarding journey. I have learned A LOT, and definitely the most important lesson I have learned this far, is that building personal relationships with your clients while setting boundaries is the most valuable thing ever. Almost ALL of my clients over the years came from word-of-mouth marketing through current clients that basically became “friends”. I think to be successful in web design, development, marketing or any business for that matter, relationship-building is your key to future success. Don’t be one of those people that offer a service, gets paid, and then let your clients go. It is as easy as just catching up for a quick call to check in, sending an email, or grabbing a coffee when you are in town. Build trust, become a friend. ✨ Want to grab a coffee or have a chat about your brand and website? Let’s create a friendship🙌 📧 ria@revcollective.co.nz My website 👉 https://lnkd.in/eMTxPhtK #business #mondaythoughts #newzealand #nzbusiness #waikato #solopreneurship #remotework #networking #nzfemalesinbusiness #webdesign #marketing #freelance #contractwork

I spent several months travelling this year thanks to remote work and passive income. This is how you can do it too 👇 After 12 years in the UK and several cold winters, I was ready for a change. ❄️❄️❄️ I decided to focus on becoming location independent so I could create more memories... 👼 I got to be there when my nephew was born. 🏖️ I attended my first business retreat in Ibiza. 🐶 I got to dogsit in Cambridge and Lisbon. 🏝️ I relocated to Spain to escape the cold. Life has so much to offer if you dream big. Take action, set goals and make them happen. I've now got an automated online business I can run from anywhere. 🌴 I do my daily money-making activities from the beach. ☀️ I have time for an al fresco breakfast in the sun. 🌊 I can go swimming in the ocean all afternoon. All I need is my phone and WiFi. 😊 Have you got two hours a day to grow your own DFY business? That's all it takes. We set-up everything for you. 💖 Your website 💖 Your sales funnel. 💖 Your social media ads. And no, it's not a complicated business model or MLM. 🚫 You don't need to be tech savvy to be a business owner. 🚫 You don't need to run expensive ads to get started. 🚫 You don't need to pay monthly fees. Head on over to my bio link and grab our 6-figure blueprint. Answer me this... If you could work from anywhere, where would you live? If you worked 2 hours a day, how would you spend your time?
