Nowadays it can feel like there’s no end to ways in which employers can train, motivate and manage the members of their team and it’s easy to come at a loss when deciding which one to choose. But, if there’s anything that the pandemic has taught us, it’s that the workspace is always changing (just look at remote working!) and that workers are continuously needing to adapt to such changes and utilise the relevant skills to do so. https://lnkd.in/ejFBTadU

🌟 Unlock Your Potential with Coaching & Personal Development 🌟 Working remotely offers incredible freedom, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. One of the biggest is staying motivated and continually growing in your career. This is where coaching and personal development come into play. They are not just beneficial; they are essential. Coaching provides you with a structured way to set goals, overcome obstacles, and stay accountable. It's like having a personal cheerleader who also gives you the tough love you need to push through barriers. Personal development, on the other hand, equips you with new skills and perspectives, making you more adaptable and resilient. Together, they form a powerful combo that can elevate your remote work experience to new heights. In the UK, a recent study by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that 74% of remote workers who engaged in regular coaching reported higher job satisfaction and productivity. That's a statistic worth noting! So, if you're working remotely, investing in coaching and personal development isn't just a nice-to-have; it's a game-changer. ✅ Boost your motivation ✅ Enhance your skills ✅ Achieve your goals Let's make remote work not just a necessity, but an opportunity for growth and success. **Born Out of Necessity - Why Remote Coaching is the Future** In the spring of 2020, the COVID-19 lockdown forced me to embark on a unique professional path: I founded my coaching and training company, EuSoftSkills, based exclusively on remote formats. What initially seemed like an enforced stopgap solution soon proved to be a promising approach. Initially, skepticism was rife from all sides. "Coaching and training require personal contact," some said. "No intimacy, no trust possible at a distance," others claimed. Yet, in practice, it quickly became evident that remote coaching and training could be on par with, and even superior to, in-person formats. The numerous advantages convinced me: - The great flexibility for coach and coachee through logging in from anywhere - The improved work-life balance by eliminating long commutes - Cost-efficiency due to reduced travel expenses - Access to international top experts beyond local boundaries - The realistic practice environment in the coachee's natural work setting And have no fear of a lack of familiarity! Skilled, experienced coaches can create a close, confidential atmosphere through targeted measures: - With informal communication phases at the beginning and end - Excellent rapport building - Guiding the conversation through advanced client calibration - Through a "secure" private environment on the coachee's side - By purposefully alternating between multimedia and pure dialogue Today, I am more convinced than ever: Remote coaching is not a compromise solution but the forward-thinking form of modern coaching and training!🎯 ➡️You have a rough idea of where you want to go through coaching, personal development, or the development of your leadership team. You may be wondering: How can we work together to help you reach the goal that truly matters to you? Am I right? Let's explore that in a free, no-obligation information session. (MA, GPHR) Leadership Coach, Author, International Speaker, Trainer & Facilitator, Flexible working advocate and champion of leaders making a difference in an exciting, but challenging era of work.
🇵🇹 This past week I attended the Running Remote Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The two days were filled with presentations and lots of networking. Once the initial exchanging of names was complete, the obvious followup was “What do you do?” Good question, but time didn’t always allow for as comprehensive as an answer as one would like. So, I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself, or re-introduce myself to those of you asked, and invite others to do likewise. ❓The short answer to what do I do? I come alongside leaders and organizations to help them navigate the many changes and transitions experienced in today’s flexible workforce. The long answer? 🙋♀️ I'm Roberta Sawatzky and my business is SAM Consulting ☘️. I come alongside leaders and organizations to help them navigate the many changes and transitions experienced in today’s flexible workforce. I am passionate about developing and supporting individuals as they grow into the leaders they aspire to be, and their people need them to be. My expertise lies in facilitating change and transition to enhance performance and foster a culture of collaboration and trust. I've spent the majority of my volunteer and professional life in the world of learning and development, offering consulting, coaching, and team facilitation. As a coach for leaders and their teams, my strengths-based approach is rooted in a simple belief – everyone has untapped potential waiting to be discovered. I've had the privilege of coming alongside incredible individuals and teams in a variety of industries as they navigate the twists and turns of ever-changing workplaces. My academic teaching and research, combined with years of industry experience have woven together to form the fabric of my coaching philosophy — It's not about me; it's about you. I've always found joy in supporting and witnessing others achieve their goals, no matter their life stage. That being said, I also believe in first me, then you. Before you write me off, let me explain. I believe that before I can support others, I need to know myself, and take personal responsibility for my own growth and development. Only then can I commit to providing the kind of support my clients deserve. 🔎 My role is not to provide you with the answers, but rather to help you explore the questions, and discover potential solutions to the challenges presented by the changes and transitions experienced in your #flexible #working environment. 🤔 I believe in the power of curiosity and the strength that comes from working together and supporting one another. 📓 So, here's to the journey ahead — your journey! I'm here as a fellow sojourner and strategic partner; I look forward to being a part of your story. 📱DM or email me at roberta@samisremote.com for a complimentary 30 minute chat to see if my services and expertise might be a match for your needs. #coach #consulting #leadership #changeandtransition
