In the quest for personal and professional growth, staying focused is paramount. Through my journey, I’ve discovered several key strategies: 1) Elevate your community to elevate yourself. 2) Engaging with mentors can illuminate your path forward. 3) A profound connection with your nutrition can redefine your energy levels and focus. 4) Cultivating gratitude and optimism underpins resilience. And, embracing a 'Let it be' attitude can help navigate the inevitable ebbs and flows. These principles have not only guided me toward achieving my own health and fitness goals but also in my aspiration to impact others positively. Let’s commit to fostering environments where focus and growth thrive. #Leadership #GrowthMindset #WellnessCoaching

The composition and dynamics of a team can make or break its effectiveness, whether on the football field or in business. My daughter is a talented young footballer, experienced this firsthand. Playing above her age group, she thrived until an injury sidelined her. Upon her return, a new coach marginalized her, focusing only on the “ready now” players and neglecting the development of younger talent. The team performed well initially, but in the finals, the strategy backfired. The stars struggled to work together, pulling in different directions. Meanwhile, the sidelined youngsters lacked the experience and confidence to step up. The team lost the finals, the stars moved on, and the remaining players were left unprepared to rebuild. Disillusioned, my daughter decided to join a new club. The parallels to business are striking: ✅ Over-reliance on star performers can create conflict and stagnation. ✅ Young talent thrives when mentored by experienced team members, gaining invaluable knowledge and confidence. ✅ Experienced members benefit from the enthusiasm and fresh perspective of younger talent. ✅ A strong leader is the glue, providing direction, balance, and a vision for long-term success. Teams, whether in sports or business need balance, diversity, and a focus on developing future stars. Without nurturing the next generation, success today can lead to failure tomorrow. What are your thoughts? Have you experienced something similar? #Teamwork #Leadership #FutureTalent #LessonsFromFootball #GrowthMindset

Here is one thing I realized watching both women's and men's basketball this last month.... Momentum is needed to win the game. It is an imaginary force, but you can feel and see it when it is in your favor. So how do we create it? It all starts with belief. Self belief, community belief, belief in the process, belief in the idea that you can make a difference. Belief in, with the hard work and attention to detail, change will come. Most momentum swings in any sport comes with a turnover. Especially if the team is losing. One turnover sparks belief and the rest falls into place. When you believe in the possibility, your actions become bolder and more consistent. It doesn't matter how many times it doesn't work, you believe you can make a difference, be the change, add value to the right people. When you believe in the potential of your team, your actions are consistent, in respect of growth, education and communicating your team's value and impact to each other and the people they serve. When you believe, and they (your team) believe in the possibility the combined consistent actions bring the most amazing results. It is hard to stop a moving train, so become the moving train! Start with small consistent actions today that build belief and the momentum of success. Momentum comes when: 👊 You have a vision (believe it is possible) for your community and you communicate regularly and you show people how they can contribute. 👊 As the leader you trust the process and believe in the possibility 👊 You are consistent in your daily actions of representing what it takes and communicating the progress and opportunity to all team members. 👊 No matter what, you keep going. You expect hard times and you show resiliency! #seniorlivingleader #assistedliving #memorycare #coaching #seniorliving

Who else is loving the Olympics? It has been said many times before that successful career climbers use some of the same mental techniques as sports enthusiasts. You’ve probably heard that sports performance is some 80% mental. That goes for leadership in the corporate world, too. That’s why coaches for high performers in sports and business employ proven techniques like cognitive reframing, neuro-linguistic programming and hypnosis to maximize productivity, break through mental blocks and regulate job stress. What lessons in #leadership can we learn from the phenomenal Simone Biles? #ParisOlympics2024 https://lnkd.in/gxPgZ9dP

#8Figured OG’s, tap in! Newbies to the 8Figured world, Welcome. 👋🏼 It’s only right that I drop a quick introduction since the “Recommit to Yourself Challenge” is underway. I’m DeBlair Tate. I partner with high-achieving women leaders to level up and become the CEOs of their personal lives while dominating their careers. I’ve written books, rocked stages, and been featured in multi-billion dollar campaigns. Hundreds of clients call me Coach DeBlair, and I love it here, to say the least! I lead by example and walk with my clients rather than spoon-feeding, hand-holding, and dragging them along their destiny. We live an 8Figured lifestyle over here, and that looks like... 💪Waking up at 5:30 am to incorporate prayer and workouts to start our day 💪 Making disciplined and healthy choices a norm and not a quick trim down for vacation or a special event 💪 Having boundaries that build a business that is an accessory to our life versus being at the center of our life. 💪Managing our intake, and that goes for people, places, sounds, and food! 💪 Going where we are celebrated and not tolerated 💪Courageously choosing ourselves, even in moments that challenge us. It goes UP on this side of the internet! I love to have fun, but don’t get it twisted: My work will shift you, and there will be some uncomfortable moments. The most fulfilling part of being a life coach is seeing your breakthrough and becoming the woman you’ve always wanted to be. If you’re ready to experience what it's like to live an 8Figured life, meet me in the comments. I have an invitation for you! #Leadership #Coaching #MentalHealth #8Figured #RecommitToYourself #RAF
