It feels great to celebrate my Indian Heritage today. A country with thousands of years of rich culture which historically, -        Never wanted to rule other nations or build an empire. -        Never tried to force its beliefs (religion) or cultural values on others. -        Never believed in organized religion till Alexander called them Hindu (Indus River people). -        Gave birth to Religion of Nonviolence, Religion of Self Knowledge, Religion of Coexistence and Global Good. -        Kept on reengineering Religion to make it relevant - gave birth to Buddhist, Jain, Sikh… -        Promoted Sharing and Caring without dividing people or arming other countries. -        Accepted displaced immigrants and gave them dignity. -       Is the biggest democracy in the world.   May be world can learn something from most populous country where junta proudly struggles every day to Make It Happen.
