Here's how... 💡 You want a firm where you don’t have to hide the fact that you are a parent. 💡 You want a firm whose attorneys value their time outside of the office. 💡You want to find a firm that can give you the flexibility to pick up your kids when the school calls because they aren’t feeling well. 💡 You want to find a firm that understands that there may be times when your kids walk in on a call. 💡 You want a firm that doesn’t expect you to be available at all hours of the night because sleep is hard enough as it is to get with kids. 💡 You want a firm that will allow you to manage your calendar to get the work done when it needs to be done. It is hard enough to be a lawyer billing hundreds of hours every month but once you add in your other full-time job, it is exponentially harder to keep everything moving if your firm’s culture doesn’t align with your life stage.
