This is my take on recruitment and hiring human resource. Recruitment is about more than just filling open positions. It's about understanding the needs of both the organization and the candidate. A good recruiter sees beyond resumes and job descriptions, taking a personalized approach to match talent with opportunity. From identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires, recruitment is a multifaceted process that requires a human touch. Taking effort to understand a candidate's career goals, motivations, and intangible needs, recruiters should be able to make meaningful connections that benefit both parties. Recruitment is not about the human resource officer or manager, but a collective effort by the organisation's executives and, or managers. Candidates should also take an effort to be authentic, transparent and realistic when undergoing the interview process.
