I have seen hundreds of #Battery Tests 🪫 and wanted to share this one with you (filmed at EMITECH) on Corrosion and Leakage 💧 in particularly through the connectors 🔌 The principle is to cycle ⚡️ (charge/discharge) the Battery Pack in a controlled environment 🌡️ while you spray a liquid 💦 on the connector and other parts sensible to ingress Le liquid is coloured 🟣 so that you can easily identify 🔎 where it is injected but also if it enters inside the Pack The main target of such a test is long term leakage that can cause Corrosion 🫧 which is a common problem encountered as the Battery is ageing 🔋⏳ By the way, there exist some technologies able to dampen/absorb 🧽 water intrusion inside the Pack and reduce corrosion effect, let me know if you want to know more… Thanks Mobility | Groupe Emitech for letting me film 🎥 this test and thanks Noëlly Dupont and sebastien potteau for supporting this work If you like this Series in collaboration with Emitech Group, do not hesitate to tell 💬 me if you want to see more #Automotive and in particular #EV Tests

Aeroqual continues to innovate and has released our in-house developed particle module named PCX, available now in our Dust Sentry and AQS products with AQM integration soon to follow. The PCX module provides improved functionality and reliability: More mass channels simultaneously: PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, and TSP mass measured as standard, with the same level of accuracy provided by our Nephelometer engine for a single mass measurement. MCerts certified for PM10 and PM2.5: The PCX PM10 and PM2.5 are both MCerts certified (pending) so now users will get certified results for both channels simultaneously in one unit. More reliable measurements: The PCX module is more accurate due to: - Automated flow measurement and control to maintain a constant flow rate - Traceable PM calibration on all 5 mass channels - Optimized heater control to dry the particles without losing volatile particulate matter Easier setup and deployment: The PCX module features an improved inlet design secured with a single Swagelok nut, allowing easy attachment and removal without wiring connections. The fitting only needs to be hand-tight for the pressures in our system, and so can be easily attached and removed without the need for any extra tools. Lower power consumption: The PCX module has lower power consumption compared to the Particle Profiler. PCX-based products will run longer on solar/battery systems. Reduced calibration and servicing time and cost: New features of the PCX that reduce calibration and servicing time include: - Automated flow control which means that users don't need to calibrate flow when installing.
