Within this context, the role of business in determining and driving sustainable growth is pivotal. Well-being, environmental health and ethical methods are at the heart of the introduction of a new standard for organisations aiming to align their operations with the goals of sustainability and societal well-being. Such acts of responsibility by the likes of Sobeys are much needed and appreciated. This has multi-fold advantages: 1. Inspiration for Consumers - When big brands are seen implementing climate action, there is a larger sense of responsibility created for the consumer to live up to as well. 2. Inspiration for Businesses - Other than consumers, other businesses can also gain inspiration, implementing strategies that are centered around the betterment of this planet. 3. Climate Action: A Norm - Once climate action is adopted on a larger scale, there is a chance of this becoming a national, followed by a global standard.
