🎯My Personal POV: I think again this is a great idea, however not so great execution. Aman Gupta Sir, I admire you and I am writing this completely to express my understanding. This video given me the vibe of Tata Motors Nano, "Cheapest Car". The case study on this and Honorable Mr Ratan Tata also said in numerous interviews that calling it "cheap" was the biggest and only problem with Nano. Now, coming to this video by boAt Lifestyle. This video counters the individual review, feedback or opinions based on their ignorance. However, I smelled a little demeaning tone while countering those by the employees. I fear, this doesn't give a backfire, upto some extent. When a brand is trying to fight this kinda sensitive situation, should be more careful during execution. We marketers never know, what is going to hurt the sentiment of consumer and loosing the essence of customer centricity. The same video could be delivered in a more empathetic way. I believe bringing in a little emotion of generating employment and how these comments makes boAt Lifestyle employees feel bad. Without whimsically demeaning, upto some extent, the commentators (consumers) would have been more fruitful, in my opinion. Kindly rectify me in the comment below or DM, if I went wrong anywhere.

Fathers are sooo unfashionable, aren't they?  They're usually dressed in clothes that are a decade past their fashion date. Bulging bellies, balding heads, unWOKE, unLIT and working in unfashionable jobs. Their dated playlist features songs by some guy called Kishore Kumar 😄 Most children at some point in their lives, wish they could swap their un-svelte dads for the trim and successful western educated tech-forward CEO/industrialist types with modern views. Much like the way we looked down on Air India during its PSU years and prayed that Tata takes it back. Truth is Tata exited AI in 1952. And Air India had it best years well after that. In the 60s and 70s. Of course JRD was the Chairman, but honestly credit for making Air India one of the world's best airlines goes to middle class babus and staff who ran its operations. In fact even in the 2000s and 2010s Air India was winning awards by the dozens. Well, now it's back with the Tata's, the professional, erudite, classy aspirational brand. And they're task masters, for this is a business to them. Ship up, pay more, no freebees, no extras. And hello! no complaints either. I'm a CEO not your dad!  A lesson poor KL Rahul also learned publicly the other day. When playing for India, no one questioned his poor scores, his constant truant, alleged injuries and missed series. But his IPL master wasn't going to afford him the same luxuries, was he? From this, my friends, do bear in mind, Know, private sector comes with caveats, For though dads are slow and rather dull, they forgive our every misstep.
