🌿 Excited to Share OliveNest: A New Eco-Friendly Initiative! 🌿 I am thrilled to introduce OliveNest, an innovative initiative to create a sustainable poultry farm integrated with a green wall of olive trees. This project concept merges agriculture and poultry farming to promote sustainability, support the environment, and maximize land efficiency. My Role: As the Investor Relations & Regulatory Affairs Manager for OliveNest, I am leading efforts to: Conduct legal and regulatory studies to ensure the project's compliance. Build connections with investors and stakeholders who are passionate about eco-friendly solutions. Facilitate collaboration between visionary leaders to make this initiative a reality. Why OliveNest? It’s one of the first of its kind in Egypt, combining poultry farming with green infrastructure. It offers a unique opportunity to support sustainable agriculture while reducing carbon emissions. Key Dam Maintenance Projects Underway in Al Buraimi Governorate The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources is making significant strides to enhance water sustainability and agriculture in Al Buraimi Governorate, Oman. With a total investment exceeding RO 686,000, these critical dam maintenance projects aim to improve groundwater storage and ensure reliable water resources for the region. Engineer Nasser bin Ali Al Marshoudi, Director General of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Buraimi, shared updates on the progress of these initiatives: - Mahdha Dam: RO 407,000 investment, 20% completed - Masilik Dam: RO 115,000 investment, 20% completed - Masah Dam: RO 52,000 investment, 30% completed - Haywan Dam: RO 50,000 investment, 28% completed - Abu Qala Dam: RO 8,000 investment, 86% completed - Al Juwaif Dam: RO 51,000 investment, ongoing progress These projects are a testament to Oman's commitment to sustainable water resource management, supporting agricultural growth and resilience in Al Buraimi. The #Zeydun region in southern Iran is renowned for its fertile fields, which require annual #dredging of traditional ditches and #drainagesystems for #agriculturallands. This important initiative is supported by the #Rural_Agriculture_Extension_Center, which plays a key role in enhancing agricultural productivity in the area and utilizes local capacities. A significant aspect of this program involves collaboration with local companies and is facilitated through corporate social responsibility(#CSR) initiatives. Zaidoon’s rich landscape, characterized by its fertile soil, the #ZohreRiver, and its #sesame crops, is further enriched by valuable oil and gas resources lying beneath the surface. In recent years, our center has worked to engage oil and gas companies in the region with their social responsibility programs aimed at #empowering #localfarmers. By providing essential machinery and equipment, this program not only supports the agricultural community but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of the region's economy.
