We believe that our strength lies in the diversity of our people. That’s why Suncor was back again this year as a sponsor of The Art of Leadership for Women - Calgary, a conference designed to teach new ways of thinking and provide connections to help women advance in their careers. At Suncor, we're intentional about creating opportunities for female leaders and recognize the value that brings to our organization. Dozens of Suncor employees were in attendance, with many from our Women Engage Network. Vicky Li, Suncor’s VP HR, Business Partners and HR Advisory, had the pleasure of introducing Roberta Bondar, an acclaimed Canadian astronaut and neurologist who inspires us to aim for the stars, while Kimberley Mullins, our VP HR, Talent, Learning and Culture, took to the stage as part of the Executive Panel. Kimberley spoke about her own career path and told the crowd to “run your own race where you can uniquely shine.”

This was an unforgettable event. It was an inspiring group of presenters that triggered many meaningful conversations afterwards!

Don’t worry about diversity in most cases it’s the destruction of any successful business you should focus on ability to run the company in most efficient and profitable way.
