Barring the crazy targets, what I appreciate most about @Oliver_MSA is that he is one of the best at tracking the flow of funds, in other words where the blob of wealth is moving. At Gordon Capital I learned the importance of tracking that blob for changes in investment trends, and for that he is one of the best. That he is also noticing that for the last month and half #gold has had tremendous stability above $2,000 shows that the flow of funds have reversed and should carry #gold higher into 2024, the real question is how high? The answer to that lies in the intrinsic truths that #gold is money all else #credit it must be produced, and that #credit bubble is bursting. Note. To answer his question that while #goldbugs might being nervous with cheap prices, #gold investors like me and my clients are patiently waiting with the inexpensive acquisitions we made over the last three years. Pretty sure that with only 0.02% of the S&P money in that sector, a reversal in the flow of funds to the historical mean of 5% will prove quite profitable, without even mentioning the hysterical "how stupid I was to believe it was a #PetRock" move above that. A volatile week marked by a few stop loss event in the HK market. But nevertheless, we persevered and inched into profit by the end of the week! Our Momentum Quant Fund (MQF) including selective Dow option trading gained 5.70% while our MQF excluding selective Dow option trading was up 18.55%.
