We sometimes put the coffee in the bathroom and the towels in the fridge In the last weeks, I have more and more the sensation that we are mixing boundaries in our lives. Yes, mixing not missing. At work, we expect companies and managers to take care of our inner life, psychological well-being, work-life balance, and sometimes even spiritual well-being. We want time to relax, a yoga room, and colleagues who love us. At home, we are expecting our kids, friends, and spouses to follow schedules, set priorities, and “deep dive meetings”. We strictly organize our time and holidays and get really stressed if we miss visiting any tourist objective in our trip to Paris. Agree that practices can be borrowed from one place to another. But really, if we would go to church for our spiritual being (or our own choosing of practice), relax in our holidays, love our friends and family, and do the right thing in the right place, we would stop expecting managers to read our aura and soul in the office. And our spouse to follow our strict agenda. 😅 So, stop putting the towel in the fridge and the coffee in the bathroom even within yourself.
