Ok, I’ll be honest. I rarely post or share here. But this compels me! I do not care what industry you are in, if you are not a positive part of your customer’s experience, you will not be successful. You have to listen and engage with what motivates them. Tara looked at it from the other side. I recently made a big move and did the same. I saw blatant disregard in automation as well as live follow ups. I also saw excellence! Mad props to that person who kept me on the phone, talking about my dog for 20 minutes after I inquired about their dog park. She never spoke of fees unless I asked. I, too, have made mistakes here but I assure you I have learned! Take the time to audit. Simplify your processes. Know your customers expectations and what their experience actually is. There might be a gap that can easily be closed. Bottom line, learn their motivation and keep them on the phone, online, or in front of you as long as you can. Make it so easy and memorable they wouldn’t consider anyone else. Happy selling!

Something we talk about during tours is concessions. Moves and transitions are challenging. The more concessions you make when moving to senior living, the less satisfied you'll be. Here's a tip. 1. Make a list with all of the things you need 2. Make another list with all of the things you really want 3. Consider the communities that offer you the most on your list 4. Plan accordingly so you have the time necessary to wait for an apartment that reduces your concessions This has been helpful to people as they consider and plan this next step. #seniorliving #advice #moving #independentliving
