When Luxury Lifestyle Awards honored TAKARA with the Best Japanese Cuisine award and Ziba with the Best New Restaurant Award 2024, I was extremely proud. I also embarked on a quest to understand how Luxury Lifestyle is connected to our venues.
A restaurant is, primarily, a journey and an experience. It is important to recognize that we now live in an experience-driven market, where people purchase products or services to evoke a specific feeling.
Simply providing high-quality food and drinks is no longer sufficient. Customers seek to immerse themselves in emotions and crave personalized experiences that will evoke lasting memories and transport their senses to new dimensions of happiness.
While technology enables personalization, it can never replace the human touch, which conveys authenticity, warmth, and genuine care that truly resonates with guests. Post-COVID-19, this kind of service has become a true luxury, and I believe people will be seeking more of this lifestyle to feel truly alive.
I firmly believe that the true measure of success in the hospitality industry is defined by our intentions. In a world of extremes, those who prioritize genuine empathy, thoughtfulness, and emotional intelligence will emerge as the winners.
This interview provides insight into these ideas and reflects on the broader transformation taking place in Saudi Arabia. By embracing cultural heritage, fostering a collaborative work environment, and prioritizing sustainable growth, Takara Hospitality Group is not only setting a new standard for hospitality in the region but also contributing to the country’s emergence as a major tourism destination. And, as Saudi Arabia continues on its ambitious development journey, we believe that we are setting an inspiring example of innovation and success.
