Proactive’s Tylah Tully brings us #JustTheFacts on a 50.85-metre #gold intersection grading at 1.43 g/t gold equivalent from Sunstone Metals Limited’s Limon gold-silver discovery in southern Ecuador.
That broad gold hit also carried higher-grade intersections of 5 metres at 5.81 g/t gold equivalent and an impressive #silver hit of 0.45 metres at 1,610 g/t gold, offering plenty of potential upside for an upcoming maiden resource estimate.
“We are very encouraged to see some spectacular high grades in both silver and gold," Sunstone managing director Patrick Duffy said.
“The widths, grades and very shallow nature of the gold-silver mineralisation all augur very well for a maiden resource and potential open pit mining scenarios that will complement the Bramaderos porphyry gold-copper-silver discoveries.”

Hello and welcome to this episode of Proactive Just the Facts. I'm your host Tyler Tully. Some Stone Metals has reported significant drilling results at its lemon gold and silver discovery in southern Ecuador. The results expand the central shoot and uncover new mineralized zones. In particular, drill hole 51 yielded a 50.58 metre intersect at 1.4. 3G per tonne gold equivalent, including a high grade segment of five metres at 5.81g per tonne, with a peak silver grade of 1610g per tonne. The results have indicated further expansion of the central shoot and new shallow memorialised areas to the South of the initial discovery. They're expected to play a key role in Sunstones upcoming maiden mineral resource estimate, the company says. The Limon system keeps getting bigger and bigger. With every drill program and the sizing, the potential for open pit mining scenarios that would complement its existing discoveries, it hopes to create a two phased development plan focusing initially on the lemon gold and silver deposit followed by its adjacent Bromander Ross discoveries. Thanks for watching. These are just the facts.
