'How can I celebrate my birthday in a way that will impact my generation and also glorify God'? A friend asked me this question after discovering that I have been consistent with "MY BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MY GENERATION" and it's been a blessing to her!! Here is my response which i think can benefit other people SUGGESTED WAYS ON HOW YOU CAN CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY IN A MORE IMPACTFUL WAY: 1- Instead of asking your family and friends for gifts, ask them to donate and join you to visit an orphanage, hospital, prison etc to bless these people with what you have (put a smile on their faces). 2- You can host a skill-sharing workshop where you teach or invite someone to teach a skill (like cooking, art, or coding etc) to underprivileged youth or adults in your community. 3- You can also host a conference to teach a particular audience on life transforming lessons like purpose discovery, self development, spiritual growth, share your story to inspire others and more. For the past 5 years, this is that I have been doing on my birthday and it's called "My birthday gift to my generation"and I can assure you that lives of many youths have been shifted through this platform. ( Check the comment section to see the different flyers). 4- Community Clean-Up that is, Gather friends for a day or few hours of cleaning up the community(a particular place). You can provide refreshments and make it a fun, collaborative effort. 5- You can assemble care packages with essential items (toiletries, snacks, etc.) and distribute them to homeless individuals or families in need and on the streets. 6- Buy life transforming books like: -I must make my parents proud -Impact is a choice - Remarkable principles to becoming a change agent in your generation -Raising a Godly generation -Parent-Child Relationship -My pain my gain -Youth with a Purpose Etc and distribute to children, youths and parents 7- You can assemble your friends and go out for evangelism to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. While going if you can, go with gifts. There are many other things you can do on your birthday that will surely put a smile on someone's face and I recommend you to consider one from the above and I can assure you that you will find joy and fulfillment. #wisdomdemands #impactisachoice
