October is #FallCarCareMonth, and we're sharing a few tips to help you prep your vehicle to transition from the summer months! 🍂🚘 • Test your battery to ensure it’s healthy. If it’s older than three years, consider replacing it. • Rotate your tires to help ensure even wear. • Check your tire pressure once a month (as cold weather approaches, weather conditions can cause tires to lose air quickly). • Replace cracked or worn wiper blades to be prepared for the rain or snow. For a thorough check, stop by your local Big O Tires or Midas International shop!

With storms coming in, here are some things to remember if your out driving: 1) Leave extra space between you and the car in front of you 2) Ease on to the gas and brake....wet roads make your tires slip easier 3) Be patient While these are obvious tips, I still get calls every time it rains to file a claim for accidents. We all have places to be and things that need to get done. So stay safe and get where you are going without adding any extra stress or injury to your day!

Check and Replace Your Wiper Blades: Spring often brings rain, making it essential to have clear visibility through your windshield. Winter can be harsh on wiper blades, causing them to crack, tear, or lose effectiveness. Start the season by inspecting your wiper blades and replacing them if they show signs of wear. This simple change can drastically improve your driving safety in rainy conditions. Additionally, top off your windshield washer fluid to ensure you can always keep your windshield clean from spring pollen and road grime.
