Exciting news! Currently, we are supporting 20 brilliant graduate students from 8 universities across 4 countries through the capacity-building program for Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Current and Emerging Threats to Crops (CETC IL). However, our mission extends beyond mere financial support to students. We are fostering a vibrant community where knowledge knows no borders. Our talented students gather weekly to share research progress, analyze papers, and acquire new skills. This knowledge-sharing is at the heart of our PlantVillage and CETC-IL community, enabling us to blend local wisdom with research-backed evidence for effective farming solutions. Many of our graduate students also serve as field officers in their home countries, ensuring our best research findings swiftly reach farmers, bridging the gap between researchers and farmers like never before. And the big news - We're extending our research fund to graduate students in Nepal! 🇳🇵 Selected students will have the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with our field staff and connect with a global network of PlantVillage scholars and scientists. Please share this post to link us with brilliant students from Nepal! 🌿 #PlantVillage #KnowledgeExchange #Empowerment #ResearchInnovation #GlobalCommunity
We're offering research funding opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students. Feel free to apply and spread the word to anyone who might be interested!

We are not hiring! 🔃 When we re-engineered Bytsolv, and started hiring, our priority was to hire people with 1. Good at engineering 2. Mature decisions 3. Respecting the leadership and team-play 4. Affordable for us 5. Sense of responsibility 6. Attention to detail 7. Ethical integrity 8. Adaptability Mostly, if the first 4 is really good, the rest 4 can follow very quickly. These are exactly the same reason why we haven't hired any recent graduates these days. It's hard to find (at-least for me) someone who has at least the first 3 who just came out of college. A person who have worked on his side-projects, communicated with real customers, engaged in team engineering whilst at college, these are crackable. I think I am lost in a place where people talk about work place, balance, mental health, toxic culture (which is definitely necessary 💯) but not about ✅ work ethic, ✅ responsibility, ✅ adaptability and ✅ respect. Is it only me trying to figure out this? Anyone wanna vent with me? 😅

Let’s get into it… 🤔Ask Unexpected Questions: While it's important to prepare answers, asking unique and thought-provoking questions can set you apart. Consider asking about company culture, team dynamics, or even a specific challenge the company is currently facing. It shows genuine interest and a proactive mindset. 📚Tell Stories, Not Just Facts: Instead of merely listing achievements, tell stories that showcase your skills and experiences in action. Highlight challenges you faced, how you tackled them, and the outcomes. ⚙️Showcase Adaptability: Employers value adaptability. Prepare examples where you've demonstrated flexibility or navigated unexpected situations. It could be adjusting to a new team dynamic or quickly learning a new skill. Head to wearediverse.io to sign up to our FREE online careers platform ✊🏾🚀 ____ Who are we? 👀 DIVERSE. is a free careers community helping Black and Ethnic Minority students, grads and young professionals get their first jobs in the corporate world. Mixed-Methods User Researcher | Certified Human Factors Professional | Shaping complex problems with data and empathy
Dear hiring software developers/designers, Please, please, please do not "helpfully" overwrite my self-supplied information by auto-processing my resume. Auto-processing my resume is only initially helpful. There are often errors in the submission that require me to go back and resubmit the document. This results in me completing an entire application, tailoring all responses, and then watching all of my work be deleted because the system had an error processing my PDF the first time. Additionally, it's really not the time for uninformative failure messages, such as: "There was an error verifying your application. Please try again." Cheers, Trey
