Interact Media Defined (IMD) has donated R30 000 to the HOT102.7FM and Hot Cares annual Teddython today, 1 November. IMD and its affiliated brands – MTE Expos (Mining and Technical Exhibitions), African Mining Publication incorporating Mining Mirror, Plumbing Africa Publication, Plumbing Travelling Exhibitions (PTE), RACA Journal Publication and Cold Link Africa Publication - have challenged other #mediahouses #expoorganisers and #advertisingagencies out there to do the same or better! “Come on South Africa, we can make an incredible difference together to our communities and our country!” say father, Rory Macnamara and brothers Sean Macnamara, Dale Macnamara and Andrew Macnamara - Exhibition and Marketing Specialist – all directors at IMD. Watch the short video to see what Andrew Macnamara had to say and to hear the excerpt from the radio announcement. Come on SA industry - every little bit counts! About Hot Cares Non-Profit Company: The company has, at its core, a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us. It’s a simple, central theme, but it’s the thread that runs through everything this Non-Profit Company (NPC) and registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) does, whether it’s dispersing the proceeds of generous donations, identifying which organisations to partner with, or just answering much-needed calls for help across the four pillars of Humanitarian and Welfare, Animal Welfare, Education and Medical. Your contributions-whether they are financial donations or in-kind goods and services-are vital in our mission to support those who need it most, including both people and animals. With your help, we can bring hope and lasting change to our community. Every act of kindness counts and your support means the world to us and those we serve.” For more details, please reach out to: affinity@scgsa.co.za #HOT1027Teddython #Charity #MakeADifference #HotCares #Fundraising #JoinUs #EveryBitHelps #EXPOS #PlumbingAfrica

🌍 It’s time to wake up, world. The people of Vanuatu 🇻🇺 are enduring the devastating impacts of climate change and natural disasters they did not cause. Rising threats, extreme weather, and now earthquakes remind us that vulnerable communities are on the frontlines of this global crisis. This is not just about statistics it’s about lives, cultures, and futures at risk. Let’s unite to take bold action, reduce emissions, and protect our planet. Prayers and thoughts for Vanuatu and all vulnerable communities. 🌏 #ClimateAction #PacificIslands #UniteForThePlanet #StoriesOfResilience
ActionAid's Carol Angir was on Sunrise this morning talking about the #Vanuatu earthquake, and the need for Australians to support our neighbours right now. ActionAid's Vanuatu team is on the ground supporting the community with clean water, food and dignity kits, and providing support with shelter. ❗ You can join in solidarity with women in Vanuatu by donating here: https://lnkd.in/eXiPPnQT

🌊 Solidarity in action: support for the #FunduszLokalnyMasywuŚnieżnika 🌍 At the Elemental Group, we believe that true strength lies in community and #support for those who need it most. That is why, in response to the dramatic effects of the #flood that hit Poland a few months ago, we donated PLN 62,852.96 to the #Fundusz Lokalny Masywu Śnieżnika. What makes this gesture even more special? It's the result of a fundraiser conducted among our employees throughout the Elemental Group! Thanks to their commitment and generosity, we can help rebuild local orphanages that were damaged by the elements. These funds will be used to rebuild and support local orphanages that suffered as a result of the disaster. We believe that thanks to this, children who found themselves in a difficult situation will regain a sense of security and stability more quickly. We are glad that we can support such an important initiative, helping to rebuild not only buildings, but also hope for a better future. Together we can do more - we thank everyone involved for their cooperation and effort put into rebuilding communities affected by the flood.
