To ease the load, customers will be open to bundle pricing, loyalty offers and other options to stretch their dollar. Time to get creative 💡 Increased demand for premium offering - Seems counter-intuitive, right? It's not! With limited entertainment funds, customers are forgoing a night out at the pub for a parma and cooking a premium cut at home. Dinner party for 6? Instead of a $40ish main for each at the local, a budget of $240 at home is going a long way towards a decent night in. 💡 Healthy and Sustainable - has well and truly entered the kitchen. More sustainably sourced products, organic and free range options... food retailers will need to beef up there offer and then communicate it through customer engagement, clear and informative signage, and on the spot service 💡 Ever-evolving palates - all these years of MasterChef on the TV has consumers becoming more and more adventurous in the kitchen (and leaving the not so culinary-talented of us trying to catch up!). We see butchers in particular adding more spice and complexity to specialty product.
