Make yourself 'exitable' as a founder... - systemise everything, develop a full 'operating system and manual' - hire for 'responsibility' not just 'activity'- nurture a 2nd tier management team - focus on net profit (you don't need £10m ebit to do a life changing deal—£250k+ will get many a good 7figure+ valuation - implement a predictable sales and marketing engine - keep on top of reporting/financials - treat customers and staff like gold (your biz is worth nothing without them) - make yourself 'operationally redundant'
