This post gave me a 143,750% increase in impressions overnight last year. I'm really proud of it and I've shared it with multiple new business owners as a template for 'how to launch your new business on LinkedIn'. ❌ I had no website. ❌ I made a very quick and imperfect logo in Canva. ❌ I didn't even know how much I was going to charge. But I had 16 meetings booked in 24 hours. And a number of those have turned into paying clients. Here's why I think it was so effective: - It was honest and vulnerable. - I'd built up a fantastic network over 15 years of people who supported what I was doing and many of whom I'd done some really great work for. - Most importantly, I was really clear on the specific things I could help people get done. It's the epitome of what I would now call 'Minimum Viable Positioning' (a term I've borrowed from Anthony Pierri 🎸 and Robert Kaminski 🎯). In other words, I gave away just enough information for my ideal customers to understand what I do, trust what I do and buy what I do. I didn't get distracted by my brand story, mission, vision or values. I didn't get hung up on things being perfect. I just needed it to be good enough. Of course, my business is continuously evolving and developing but the core of what I do hasn't changed at all from this initial statement (in fact, I'm going to reintroduce some of the language I used in this original post because it's great). If you need help replicating this and getting a clear elevator pitch to launch your business, that's something I can help you with. In fact, it's a new service I'm going to be offering, inspired by one of my wonderful new clients. I haven't yet built a landing page, named it or figured out the pricing. But in the spirit of this post, I'm going to launch it anyway. Here's how it will work: STEP ONE: We meet for an hour and I will interview you and get all the information I need to support you in building ‘minimum viable positioning’. In other words, all the essential things you need to start promoting your business right now (and nothing more). STEP TWO: I’ll take that information away and give you the answers to the key questions you have about how to promote your business now. Ultimately we want to know who you help and how you will help them. STEP THREE: We’ll have a final session where I play that all back to you and we refine it together. If this sounds like something you need, connect with me and drop me a message.

Creating one page visual strategy overviews with tactical action plans for business owners that make sense for the time and money they have available.
Your website strategy should be a part of your overall business strategy. The look, feel, and content are all representing your brand. As a business owner, it's important to understand what you want to achieve with your website before diving into selecting a platform and a website company. Remember: you don't know what you don't know. Take the time to think through your website goals before starting the process. Ask yourself a couple of questions: 1) What are you seeking to achieve with the site? For instance, do you want inbound leads? Or, perhaps you want to visually show your portfolio of work so potential clients get a feel for what you do? 2) Who will be coming to your site? This is where your brand personas come into play. Knowing your audience and what they are seeking when looking at a company such as yours means you can message clearly and succinctly based on their pain points. 3) How can you represent company culture and your why to help visitors understand who you are and who you work best with? Your brand both colors, tone, language and visual representation makes a statement. There are so many questions you can ask when preparing to create or update a site but starting with the basics and building out a strategy will help you find a vendor that is best suited for your needs and create a site that will attract your ideal client and employee.

Build a Stronger Brand with Organic Growth | 100X Your Presence with Expert Brand-Building | Surpass $2.5M Using Pure Organic Marketing | Ace of Social Media Strategies
At least once a week a business owner asks me: “Harsh I want to work with you but my website isn’t finished - does that matter?” My answer? No. Non. Nein! 😆 Why? Because most websites are RELICS of the past which FAIL to do the one thing you need it to do: >> Convert Traffic Into Enquiries! << And to do that? All you need is an optimised LinkedIn Profile and a High Converting Landing Page which can be built in a couple of hours... (which I guide clients through...) Both your LinkedIn profile and Landing Page should follow the O. P. A. format: ✔ Lead with the OUTCOME your clients can expect from working with you ✔ Show them PROOF you can get them the desired outcome ✔ ASK them to contact you for more information, to book a call, etc. That’s it. Do that and I guarantee you’ll be ahead of 90% of your competitors. Final word: Fussing over a website design is *procrastination and avoidance* of what really needs to get done: Having conversations with potential clients and MAKING SALES. I don’t make the rules 🙃

The most valuable website tip you’ve never been taught: Start with a strategy session. When it comes to running a small business, most people start their website here: • List out their services • Spend money on a logo • Talk about themselves and their business • Upload stock images that are industry related Unfortunately, this results in: • No leads generated • You miss out on potential opportunities • Your ideal client goes to your competitor All the while, year after year, you spend time and money redesigning the website. Time and money that are vital for you to run your business successfully. The solution...spend just as much time planning your website strategy as you do building the website. This critical phase determines how you want your website to function. Laying the blueprint for: • What you want the website to accomplish • Who exactly you are targeting • How you are going to measure success These are questions that drive every decision of the website. When you do this, you will see your website transform your business.
