The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has released a consultation document with eight illustrative examples to enhance the reporting of climate-related and other uncertainties in financial statements. This initiative aims to improve transparency and strengthen the connection between financial statements and sustainability disclosures. The examples focus on areas such as materiality judgments and disclosure of assumptions, providing guidance on applying IFRS Foundation standards without changing existing requirements.
