Last month, participants in Action for Children’s reciprocal mentoring pilot got together in our London office for a memorable celebration and learning event, marking the successful conclusion of the programme. Launched in September last year, this pioneering pilot matched 12 staff members from Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic backgrounds with our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams. Through this unique co-learning relationship, participants had the chance to mentor and be mentored by one another, fostering mutual growth and understanding. The recent event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved to meet face-to-face and celebrate their achievements, whilst reflecting on the invaluable lessons learned throughout this journey.
