Art of Board has been busy the last couple of months developing a brand-new esthetic. Not to worry, we are still committed to keeping skateboards out of landfills. Upcycling and recycling into a new updated version! Our latest creation utilizes upcycled decks which feature art from the amazing El Rose, tattoo artist from London in the celadon colorway. Working with KC Art Advisor Peregrine Honig who presented a simply beautiful composition of imagery in two new tile sizes. 2x4 and 4x4. The creation was specifically designed for KC award winning restaurant Novel's addition of a sweet new coffee shop named Penrose. The installers were none other than Weston Sparks and Lucas Delao local KC skaters who were excited to prepare the hand cut and individually sanded pieces of decks for the project.
