Day 3 of Thrive Market refusing to cancel an account that was fraudulently created with my email address and has never been used by me. —————- On Monday April 15, 2024 I received an email from Thrive Market that “a new login was detected” using my personal email address. I’ve never setup or used Thrive Market. I emailed support, explained the situation and requested the account be cancelled. They told me the only way to cancel the account is to provide additional personal information. Absolutely not! I try to go through their chat - same reply. Considering how sophisticated scams have become I am not comfortable providing personal information for an account I never set up! This is an absolutely absurd cancellation practice. I would really like to speak to someone in their corporate office who can rectify the situation.
