Quick UI Study When it comes to design we all like to experiment and play around. This past week I played around with using a mask with smart animate. Might do another quick study sometime later as well! ☺️ Do you guys enjoy messing around with masks too? 🤔 #uidesign #figma #uxdesigner #masking #prototype

𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐔𝐈 The talk by Dominika Góral and Jessica Szarek from Monster Couch. Conflicts between UI/UX Designers and programmers are quite common in Gamedev. While first ones want to create amazing flow with thousands of animations, the second ones prefer to keep it simple and smart. Speakers will tell you how they managed to work together and create symbiosis while making UI for the Wingspan Oceania Expansion Pack. Checklist with must have points while working on prefabs and objects, well-made flow, discussions. The talk: https://lnkd.in/dzTxsYcm #gamedev #indiedev #Wingspan

Hi guys, I'm beginning my week with this tutorial from Emishovictor YouTube tutorial. I completed the landing session with a tweaked idea during the tutorial session. I came across some challenges because I tried to make the background solid, but the issues that emerged with importing from Spline to Figma had to go for a while background. This is an advanced prototype interaction design and i'll be sharing the rest of the design soon. #figma #landingpage #productdesign #jewelrywebdesign

Ending the week on a high! Our team has been working hard to improve the existing identification UI and implement a new harvesting minigame in our foraging life simulator “Out and About” - and here it is! 🎉 To be fair, it’s not completely finished yet as some UI elements are missing, but I just couldn’t hold back and had to share it! 👀 I’m very proud of my team! We created a beautiful, polished experience and it was by no means easy to get here. Learning how to polish is a skill that we just recently unlocked, and still need to learn a lot about. Because games are 100% art, no feature is ever done just because the code is written. There are so many tiny details that add up to a polished experience, it’s hard to even list them all. But from what I have learned, 3 majort things that influence polish are: - animations! The world needs to feel alive, and players need to be able to “touch it”. - sounds! The difference a great set of sounds makes is just astonishing! - UI! Great UI/UX is vital. Always iterate on designs. We just discovered this design recently and now every old video looks pale in comparison. Now we’re closer than we have ever been to knowing what that 100% polished experience should look, sound and feel like. And I can’t wait to develop the rest of the game with this knowledge in mind #gamedev #unrealengine5

came up top 3 in challenge part 2. Been in the world on designs for years learning but ave never really focused on using it. from Graphics design to motion design and now UIUX. I delved into web development but I can say my love for design made learning UIUX interesting in the short amount of time ave learnt it. Watched videos of micro-interaction from top designers but I can say this challenge is on another level. Intent to keep learning until am very rounded in designs my sleepless night paid off. Gearing up for challenge 3 #productdesign #productdesigners #figma #uiuxdesign
