When designing custom packaging, one of the first things to be aware of is the concept of CMYK colors. CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black), which are the four basic colors used in color printing. Unlike RGB colors, which are used for digital screens, CMYK is essential for producing the vibrant and accurate colors you see on printed materials. Each color is applied in varying amounts to create a full spectrum of hues and shades, making your packaging designs pop and catch the consumer's eye. Why is CMYK so crucial in packaging? It ensures consistency and quality across all printed materials. When you design using CMYK, what you see on your screen is what you’ll get on the final product, while if you use RGB colors, you might get some color variance. This color model makes sure your colors are coming out as intended, which is vital when maintaining brand colors and producing professional, eye-catching packaging. By understanding CMYK, you'll be better equipped to communicate with printers and achieve the best possible results for your projects. #PackagingDesign #CMYK #ColorPrinting #GraphicDesign #Branding #NewToPackaging #DesignTips #PrintDesign #CreativeProcess #PackagingIndustry #merchantboxes #

Many businesses take out managed print contracts, which charge a fixed cost per page for colour printing. This seems fair on the surface, but there's a big catch - you pay the same whether the page has a tiny logo or an entire photo. This means you can end up overpaying for colour pages with minimal colour. Our three-tier printing system solves this problem by charging based on colour usage. Here's how it works: Tier 1 is for pages with minimal colour, like a logo or heading. This has the lowest cost per page. Tier 2 is for standard colour usage, like charts and graphics. Tier 3 is for pages with maximum colour, like photos or brochures, and costs the most per page. This tiered pricing model is much fairer than the traditional model. Now, you only pay for the colour you use, which can lead to big savings on colour printing costs for your business. Contact our team and give it a try! #ManagedPrint #ManagedIT #Network #Infrastructure #Comms #VoIP #ITHardware #Microsoft365
