SWE Hartford is excited to host an early career professionals networking night on July 11th at GastroPark in West Hartford! Attendees will be able to network with each other as well as active members of SWE Hartford. You don't have to be a member of SWE yet!   If you are an early career professional, we would love to have you join us! If you don't feel like you fall into that category anymore, we also need experienced members who would like to share about their career journeys to attend!   No RSVP necessary, but appreciated! One of SWE’s core values is an Inclusive Environment, so this Pride Month we’re excited to amplify some initiatives that you can participate in to celebrate – whether as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or as an ally! Want to celebrate? Attend an in-person Pride event, like West Hartford’s Pride Festival on June 22 Want to learn & expand your knowledge? (Must be a SWE member to access these) Listen to one (or more!) of SWE’s Diverse Podcast episodes featuring members of the LGBTQIA+ community on inclusivity in this space. They range from 15-60minutes. Reminder: SWE FY 24 Scholarship Opportunity – NOW OPEN – DUE May 20th This year we are offering a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior female student enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in a Baccalaureate Engineering or Computer Science degree program.
