I am immensely proud of the exceptional team at IKM Testing in supporting BP achieving their Aim 4 objective. This alignment with the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP2.0) Level 4 source level guidance is a significant milestone. But with the use of new technology in the industry, like the drones bp deployed here in this video. The goal of reducing our green house gas emissions is more possible. In this post bp talks about how they are deploying drones with sensors to their drilling sites in an effort to be able to track and successfully lower their emissions by as much as possible. Eyes on Energy Storage - Inferring Duration ATTENTION POWER TRADERS! Can the duration of energy storage resources be inferred by information included in the interconnection agreement? Example: Anchor BESS in ERCOT is described only as a 71.45 MW in official reports. A little bit of connecting the dots in EnerKnol led me to the interconnection agreement which includes a mandatory description of equipment. I am out of my depth. I can only infer that the battery park includes 65 units. Other than that, what can one infer with a detailed description of equipment and the booklet of manufacturers specifications. From the Interconnection Agreement: "The Plant is a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility with one Point of Interconnection to the grid. The nominal Plant rating will be 71.45 MW of AC power, with a maximum rating of 70 MW at the Point of Interconnection.
