🌟 Reflecting on the HBA New England Executive Exchange Year-End Event 🌟 I am delighted to share the highlights of the exceptional HBA New England Executive Exchange Program Year-End Event hosted by Alkermes. The theme, "Leverage Leader Allies in our United Force for Change," brought forth invaluable insights, and I'm thrilled to spotlight some key takeaways: 🚀 Kanchan Relwani, one of our own, shared a profound piece of advice: "Make time for mentoring/coaching - a few minutes of engagement with someone can make a huge impact on their careers and life in general." A reminder that small acts of guidance can lead to monumental transformations. 💡 Networking is Your Networth: We reaffirmed the significance of our professional networks, recognizing that they are indeed our net worth. Building and nurturing relationships is a currency that pays dividends in personal and career growth. 🤝 Proactive Relationship Building: The event emphasized the importance of reaching out and building relationships not just when we need assistance but as an ongoing practice. True allies are cultivated through consistent engagement. 🌟 Surrounding Ourselves with Brilliance: Prioritizing connections with individuals who genuinely care, embrace a growth mindset, and uplift one another is of utmost importance. These allies propel us forward and advocate for our success. This year-end event was a resounding success, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration, learning, and empowerment. It reminded us of the power we hold when we unite to drive positive change within our teams and organizations. Let's continue to leverage the wisdom gained and the connections forged to make lasting impacts in our professional journeys. Together, we are an unstoppable force for change! #hbaimpact Sara Misch, Ellie Eckhoff, PCC, Carol B., Jessica Blaustein, Madeline Coffin, Hilliary Van Voorhies, M.S., Katie Joyce, Janine Shea, Gretchen Murphy

🎓 Celebrating my Executive MBA graduation from MIT yesterday was a truly special moment, marking the culmination of an enriching 20-month journey. This incredible experience has been transformative, pushing me beyond my limits and broadening my horizons in ways I never imagined. Our final "Leading with Impact" week was truly the pinnacle of this journey. We had the privilege of working with Kesem, an organization that provides support to children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Kesem’s dedication and the unwavering commitment of their team deeply inspired us. A heartfelt thanks to the entire Kesem team, especially Alicia Kabir, Domonique Hollins (McClendon), and Carrie Clemens, for giving us the opportunity to contribute to your meaningful work. Your mission and the lives you touch have left a lasting impact on us. To my fellow EMBA cohort, professors, staff, family, mentors, and everyone who supported me along the way – thank you for your guidance, friendship, the countless memories, and for making this dream a reality. Here’s to new beginnings and making a difference in the world! 🌟 #EMBA #MIT #Graduation #Leadership #Impact #Kesem

🌍 Transforming Lives Through Energy: A Journey with ENGIE Energy Access & MIT EMBA Team 🚀 Delighted to share experiences from our transformative field trip to Zambia with ENGIE Energy Access, a key component of our MIT Sloan EMBA GoLab project. Our goal? To confront the energy challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa, where over 600 million are without electricity. 🌞 A Deep Dive into Solar Home Systems and Partnerships Heartfelt thanks to Helen Zulu for her gracious welcome and insight into ENGIE's solar solutions. Kudos to George Mudhune , Nelson, and Juliet Tembo for their patience and knowledge in exploring the intricacies of energy access and logistics. Your passion is truly infectious! 💡 Insights & Learning Engaging directly in ENGIE’s operations brought us face-to-face with the complexities and triumphs of energy access. Thanks to Harriet Okwi for her stellar project management, and Dumisani Ndhlovu and Tendai Chambati for illustrating the profound impact of RECAPO SOLAR SYSTEMS. Our interactions with Randa Mrabat and Chifunda Sikazwe on mini-grids were incredibly enlightening. In our journey, we had the privilege of meeting with the Commercial Head of Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Brand Management, Cassandra Munungwe- Mhone at ENGIE. Their insights into market dynamics and brand development added invaluable depth to our understanding. This, along with the remarkable efforts of women leaders driving energy access, highlighted the power of diverse leadership in creating sustainable and innovative solutions for electrifying communities. 🚗 Journey to Chipata Our 11-hour road trip to witness the transformational impact of ENGIE's mini-grid in Chipata was humbling. Over 1,500 people, including the students of Chiyidze Day Secondary School, now have electricity - a testament to ENGIE’s meaningful work. 🏠 Connecting with Service Center Officers, Agents and Customers Our time spent with service center officers, agents and customers in Lusaka was invaluable. Hearing their stories and experiences with ENGIE’s energy solutions further fueled our commitment to drive change. 🎓 A Partnership of Impact A massive thank you to ENGIE for partnering with MIT Sloan School of Management. This enriching experience wouldn't have been possible without the guidance and support from Patrick Westman, Harriet Okwi, Jacinta Whelan-Gumbo, and our mentor Geoff Beckwith. 🤝 To My Team A big shoutout to my exceptional teammates Saloni Behl, Fortune M., Erin McPike, Thiago Gaspar, and Hemanth Kaligotla – you’re the best! This journey was more than just a project; it was a lesson in empathy, innovation, and the power of collaborative solutions. Here’s to lighting up more lives! 💡 #EnergyAccess #MITEMBA #ENGIE #Innovation #Sustainability #GlobalImpact
We concluded our ENGIE Energy Access (Africa) GoLab trip on a high but humbling note. We had enlightening and insightful exchanges with Randa Mrabat Global Head of Mini-grids and Product and Chifunda Sikazwe Head of Mini-grids (Zambia). Cassandra Munungwe- Mhone (Cassie) Head of Strategy and Marketing, was a wealth of knowledge and electrifying energy. Market challenges will always exist but should never deter seizing the opportunity to do more. On Days 1 and 2, we focused on solar home systems (SHS) and wholesale partnerships. On day 3, we took an 8-hour road trip to Chipata to see ENGIE’s mini-grid and witness how it’s transformed people’s lives. More than 200 families (over 1,500 people), including Chiyidze Day, a 450-student secondary school in Chitandika village, now have electricity. On the way to Chipata, we visited one of many ENGIE service stations and met with friendly and well-trained field agents. We observed empathy and care in ENGIE’s service delivery model and learned from them the impact of ENGIE on the community. Back in Lusaka, we took the opportunity to visit with ENGIE’s customers. I would like to thank all of them for welcoming us into homes and places of business and sharing with us their experiences with ENGIE. Finally, I would like to thank ENGIE for partnering with MIT Sloan School of Management and affording our EMBA ‘24 GoLab team, the most rewarding experiences. To Patrick Westman and Jacinta Whelan-Gumbo, thank you for giving this challenging project, granting us unfettered access to your team and setting us with the most intelligent, organized, meticulous and strategically savvy Harriet Okwi. Geoff Beckwith , our project mentor, your patience and guidance has been superb!! Hemanth Kaligotla Saloni Behl Swetha Krishnan Erin McPike Thiago Gaspar
