Human Med-Techie 🙃 // Enabling rapid test manufacturers and researchers to quantify results faster, more precisely and risk-free // Flowify AI is now available in the App Store! 📲
Kicking off 2024, here’s a glimpse into medtech's future: What's next for the medtech industry? The short answer: Not much 😂... sadly. New EU regulations like IVDR are expected to slow down medical product innovation even further. Yet, looking ahead to the next five years: · Quantification of rapid tests will gain prominence. · I'm optimistic that DiGAs will expand to include IVDR along with MDR. · AI will be more commonly used in medical apps. · There will be a shift towards eco-friendlier materials in LFA production. · Increased competition from China and India is likely to spur innovation in LFA development & manufacturing, especially regarding automation. While medtech's pace of change is glacial, my team at Liftric and I are committed to driving forward with meaningful innovations! So, what's on the horizon for Liftric? ✅ Achieving ISO 13485 certification. ✅ Empowering manufacturers with Flowify AI to quantify any rapid test via an app-based platform. ✅ Integrating other colorimetric based instant diagnostics into Flowify AI. ✅ Transitioning from service-oriented to product-focused. ✅ Fostering our brilliant Liftric team to develop and launch groundbreaking ideas. What are your predictions for medtech in 2024?
