Schedule a weekly time to meet with the one Hiring manager, a telephone call is often all that is needed. Clarify requirements weekly. Ask if there has been changes-big or small. Communicate any updates as far as feedback (from potential applicants or actual applicants) Remember to ask if anyone else has been added to the hiring process (decision makers). Celebrate wins! So, what are the risks of hiring the wrong person at the wrong time? 1️⃣ Poor culture fit - rushed decisions lead to higher turnover. 2️⃣ No processes - If nothing is documented, how can they learn? 3️⃣ Ramp-up time - lack of support can hinder a new hire's success. 4️⃣ Team pressure - avoid strained relationships and stress on the team. 5️⃣ Quota pressure - waiting for applicants risks empty pipelines/missed targets.
