🌍💼 Reflecting on Six Months of Building: Simplifying Payments and Empowering Merchants After more than six months of building, I've found it crucial to reflect on some key insights that could benefit many. 💳💸 Money transfers are unnecessarily complex, involving numerous intermediaries each taking their share and intentionally making the overall process confusing. This outdated system benefits cards and credit networks the most, as they impose high fees and difficult procedures while controlling the flow of money. Merchants face significant challenges due to arbitrary blocks by Payment Service Providers (PSPs). This problem is severely underestimated but is much more prevalent than people think, especially affecting our colleagues in emerging markets. Some PSPs even block funds for six months or more, essentially borrowing money at 0% interest. 😤📉 At Inflow, we are committed to addressing these issues by providing a payment service where merchants will never be blocked due to over-compliance.
