https://lnkd.in/geJyNtpq A practical tandem condensation N-alkylation reaction has been developed for trisubstituted hydrazone formation using aldehydes, hydrazines, and alkyl halides. This method addresses chemoselectivity issues, enabling one-pot reactions with diverse functional groups including halo- and heterofunctional groups, as well as free hydroxyl and amino groups. The process yields a wide range of trisubstituted hydrazones in good to excellent yields.
