#RevolutionConference #RevolutionFestival #wearerevolutionlt #ReKūrai A fragrance educator, who curated smells for an English electronic music band "Depeche Mode" fan party - meet Toma Vyšniauskienė. She is coming to "Revolution" to talk about one of the most important human sense - the smell 💜 Scent has a strong influence on building relationships with friends, partners, clients and event attendees, so Toma is convinced that scent at an event can be as important as music or food. "We can use smell as a media tool and use it to send a certain message to the people around us," asserts Toma. Aurimas Kamantauskas, the organizer of the "Revolution" festival, who has organized about a thousand various events, adds that a properly chosen scent can become the formula for the event's success. "I use fragrance at an event when I want to enhance the WOW effect. For example, when preparing the presentation of Juozas Statkevičius' MAGNUM swimwear collection, we made an ice cream stick-shaped dune walkway podium. We filled tons of real sand under it. Seagulls were screeching, smoke was coming from the path, and the last element was the smell of the sea and the dunes, which we enriched the arena with before letting the spectators in," says A. Kamantauskas. Read more in lrytas.lt article - the link is in the comments. Get yourself a ticket: bit.ly/RevolutionBilietai More information: https://lnkd.in/dbkv83YH

🌿 **Beyond the Bottle: Unveiling the Cultural Tapestry of Fragrance** 🌿 We are thrilled to announce an upcoming conference that promises to be a landmark event for professionals and enthusiasts in the perfumery industry: "Beyond the Bottle: The Cultural Significance of Fragrance from Ancient Egypt to AI-Driven Customization," led by Heidi Karlsson. Dive deep into the transformative journey of scents that have captivated human senses from the dawn of civilization. This presentation will embark on a historical odyssey, beginning with the essential roles perfumes played in ancient Egypt—serving not only in rituals and healing but also as markers of social identity. Traverse through time to discover how fragrances have woven their significance across various cultures and epochs, acting as silent narrators of human history. In the present era, witness the groundbreaking shift as artificial intelligence (AI) redefines the art of perfumery. AI-driven customization and sustainable practices are merging millennia of olfactory traditions with cutting-edge technology, presenting a future where fragrances are intensely personal and environmentally conscious. This conference is not merely an exploration of scents; it's an insight into their profound impact on human heritage, now being reimagined through modern technology and a lens of environmental sustainability. Join us for a session that promises to enlighten, inspire, and transform your understanding of perfumes beyond their scents. 28-09 | 24-11 [at] MU.SA (Câmara Municipal de Sintra) “O Futuro Nasce a cada Amanhecer” | “The Future Rises with each Dawn” marks the inaugural public presentation of the Vasco Collection. More than merely existing in the present, with a stable form and defined body, the collection projects itself into the future, envisioning itself as an endless exercise of imagination and desire. At the same time, while much of private collecting with institutional aspirations seeks to define, in the present moment, which past will be important for the future, the Vasco Collection views collecting as the self-expression of individual subjectivity - subject to inflections, advances, setbacks, hesitations, but also unquestionable certainties. Far from being an exhaustive or definitive approach to the collection, the exhibition thematically explores the representation of the human figure, both through its presence and absence, as well as ideas of representation and identity, creating a path that is both sensitive and critical, where the human body is in constant transformation. #vascocollection #art #artcollection #artists

What are metaphysical hermeneutics? How can we best 'decode' the absurd? Does art require a criteria? What are the metaphysics of advertising? If I see that a company can create the VERY GREATEST art. Surely that's the best and most impressive thing they can do? Beverage advertising is my very favourite. How do you advertise something you sip, drink or gulp? Any. Way. You. Want. When your brilliance is casual, fun, grandiose, amusing, elegant, boisterous - and a spectacle? And innovative? It is impossible to ignore. You have transcended and defied all. 'What am I advertising? At this level of mastery? Sublime brilliance. That's all. We're casually demonstrating our greatness.' If Radiohead can release an EP that's not an LP and their EP has 7 tracks that are better than any LP that year with 12 tracks. Then? If a brand releases an art exhibition or installation? Or puts on a concert? And it's worth everyone's endless attention, curiosity and fascination? Guess what they now associate with your brand. Everything wonderful. The key element is surprise. A cheeky surprise, a funny surprise, a safe surprise, a reassuring surprise, a comfortable surprise. When it comes to the spectacle there are many ways to engage with it and different stages to your participation in it. Noticing Staring Being entranced and hypnotised Pondering what you're seeing while you try to process it all Studying it to better understand what's going on and how it does what it does Finding out who the puppet master is. The Wizard of Oz Telling yourself it's not worth your time and that you have cooler stuff to do Being intrigued again, knowing you might never see it again Enjoying it with someone and wanting to validate aspects of your shared experience, perception and interpretation Decompressing from the experience and debriefing These are personal notes on the various stages, variously experienced by various groups/types of people when they see a spectacle. When your spectacle takes place somewhere iconic? Now it's much easier to stage an iconic spectacle. And you will want the very best photographers, painters, drawers, and visisual artists on hand to interpret it and manufacture pop art and timeless art. Right then and there. Stage a pop up ART HAPPENING. Or a pop up Da Vinci workshop. You're manufacturing popular culture and soft power and influence and brand worth in REAL TIME. In a luxurious tapestry. You must be efficient and effective about it. It's like you set up your spectacle. Then you set up your circus in 5 minutes and get to it. Media circus, your provocation, your fashion elements, and as many mixed media artists as you can afford. Then upload it all, send it to your graphic design person or the artists work it all. And you have branding, PR materials, low and high art and all kinds of art to share with the world. About how THIS was that THRILLA IN MANILLA or that Bigfoot Sighting. I always loved illy coffee. Now, even more! Congratulations!

Supply Chain Management & Logistics x International Trade x Senior Advisory x Management Systems = Sustainable Business Ventures
In August 2023 I joined the global Antler start-up program that helps entrepreneurs develop their business ideas at the speed of light ⚡, and provides access to pre-seed funding. One big take I had from the program was "Characteristics of a good problem to solve": 1) Painful: So painful or expensive without fixing, that potential users have a high willingness to pay. 2) Popular: Millions of people are afflicted. 3) Frequent: Users experience the problem several times per day. 4) Growing: Structurally growing potential market. 5) Urgent: This needs to be solved right now. 6) Unavoidable: The problem will still exist, despite e.g. regulatory changes. I struggled between running an idea ticking all the boxes from my experience in the logistics industry, and another idea within ART. The art idea DID NOT TICK ANY OF THE BOXES. ❌ 🤦♂️ Guess my choice of venture? Those of you who know me. Art of course... 🤗 Long story short. No VC backup at this stage, but the iteration continues. At the speed of a turtle, we are now entering step one in trying out a new concept of experiencing art... The Public Art Gallery aims to be a globally accessible physical art gallery by connecting artists, art collectors, and curated venues. Our mission: To transform selected spaces into vibrant galleries, capturing the true spirit and meaning of art. 💚 Whatever happens, I´m proud that we now collaborate and iterate with one of the largest coffee shops in the Nordics; Waynes Coffee, and one of the most recognized art galleries in the Nordics; NOA Gallery. The concept at this stage is very low-tech, manual, and hands-on 📠. Nevertheless, we have learned a lot already, and I´m looking forward to the next 999 steps before the idea looks something at the level I´d like it to be. 😁 Next time you are in Stockholm, grab a coffee at Waynes Coffee ☕☕☕, Vasagatan 40. Take a rest, experience the art 🎨 from Catarina Kent, and take a moment of self-reflection. And please send an e-mail to henrik@thepublicartgallery.com with your thoughts. Good or bad, everything is appreciated! 🙏 Thank you Robert Hedlund Gustavo Reis Lars Ragnå Mikael C. Cecilia Göthlin Catarina Kent for believing that bumblebees can fly. And to Antler and Magnus Grimeland with your team for a great learning experience! 🚀 🚀 🚀 You all rock! #art #artexhibition #waynes #stockholm #noagallery #thepublicartgallery #antler
Our very first exhibition is now up and running!
