"Are we starting to see fee compression in evergreen funds? At the moment the industry does not see much pressure on fees. What is instead growing is the pressure on transparency: - where do you generate that return? - what are the risks? - what do I own?" "What do I own" sounds like a basic question, but it is not. In an industry with hypersophisticated and granular investment strategies, it might not be easy to answer. Only with the right technology tools can GP provide their investors with the proper answers to their very legitimate questions. Tech has to be able to adapt to different asset classes and financial structures and to provide both a laser-focused view on a specific event (or asset) but also be able to aggregate and look across position to assess industry, geography, event related risks embedded in a portfolio. #cardoai #privatecredit #structuredfinance #alternatives #evergreenfunds #ABF #assetbasedfinance
