By tapping into this multi-tasking behavior, companies can increase interaction and brand recall. 💡 For example, during live sporting events like the Super Bowl, brands run interactive campaigns that sync with the broadcast. While watching the game, viewers can participate in real-time polls, trivia questions, or social media challenges via their smartphones. Some companies even integrate augmented reality features into their second-screen campaigns, allowing users to scan products on the screen and engage in immersive experiences. 🕹️Additionally, entertainment shows use second-screen engagement to build deeper relationships with their audiences. All the apps you will and won’t get on the Vision Pro 🕶👇 Apple's latest mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, is set to transform the way we interact with our favorite apps and entertainment platforms. 🚚 First pre-ordered headsets are being delivered this week (mainly to influencers), and there's a mix of excitement and curiosity about what's in store. The success will not be defined by the hardware.. but more by the apps that it supports. ❌ A few big names like Netflix, Spotify & YouTube won't be featuring Vision-specific versions at launch - a shame. Users will be directed to use Safari for accessing these services - for now. ✅ What will be featured? The Vision Pro will include Apple's own apps, like Apple Music and AppleTV, alongside some notable additions such as Disney+ and TikTok, promising unique immersive experiences. 🎬 The full overview of 3rd-party streaming apps includes: • Disney+ • (HBO) Max • Discovery+ • Paramount+ • Amazon Prime Video • Pluto TV • Tubi • Fubo • Crunchyroll • Peacock • Pluto • Mubi 🏀 Also games will be represented by: - What the Golf? - Super Fruit Ninja - NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition - Candy Crush Saga - Rec Room 🚀 The Vision Pro might start with a smaller selection of apps, but it's a significant step in Apple's journey into virtual reality. It's not just a device; it’s a gateway to a new world of experiences. 🤔 So, what do you think? ➡️ Will the Vision Pro set a new standard in the world of mixed reality, or will the absence of popular apps like Netflix and Spotify impact its adoption? Share your thoughts! #innovation #trendwatching #visionpro #apple #vr #virtualreality #spatial #future #tech #commerce #retail #business

SnapChat Lens, AR effect, image tracking Using the mechanics of AR (augmented reality), it can diversify the user experience, which has long been successfully used by brands seeking to attract new audiences. This technology can be used by an artist to create added value for a painting, increasing its attractiveness in the eyes of a potential owner. The AR-effect brings the physical scene to life. How it works: - the picture hangs on the wall; - using the quarcode or link, the SnapChat lens is launched; - the smartphone camera is aimed at the picture; - the picture comes to life on the smartphone screen. #augmentedreality #AReffect #snapchatlens

It has been a couple of weeks since the Apple's Vision Pro was launched in US. Apple fans, Tech Influencers, Celebrities have been posting on their social media with their Unboxing videos and 1st hands on experience using the device. I am sure you have seen videos, of people walking on road, sitting in Metro, or at home or office using these glasses. Whilst VR headsets (Oculus, PS VR, etc) have been around for some time and not been very successful, Vision Pro offers a better seamless experience. Will this be the future of computing and/or entertainment ? Will people start ditching their 4K TV and start watching Netflix on these ? Time will tell, but initial comments from some users suggest that using them for long hours causes nausea and visual disorientation. They are said to be front heavy and the battery only last couple of hours. Unless you plan to carry multiple battery packs to take you through your work day. For now, it is the most popular new toy for the ones who can afford the $3500 price tag + Accessories. What do you think ? #applevisionpro #apple #gadget https://lnkd.in/dgWm5GHR

I've got the receipt, I was there! But you didn't stay! Bandwagon fans are annoying. With major brands attempting to carve out their niche in the VR space using their own terminology, it seems they keep falling short. The hype around VR is undeniable, as is the allure of 3D virtual environments. However, failing to cater to the existing enthusiasts in this space is a recipe for failure. Meta went down this path initially and backtracked almost immediately. Imagine if Apple entered the market with a Head Mounted Display capable of accessing all current VR content. This would have been a boon for influencers and creators of 3D worlds to dive into. Instead, they have turned their back on indie 3D creators and are relying on a small selection of previously unsuccessful 3D projects to be their main focus. #vr #applevisionpro https://lnkd.in/gUCCuj8z

People often refer to Snapchat as the OG social media AR platform, but the technology actually came from a Ukrainian startup called Looksery, which specialised in facial tracking, face modification and bandwidth optimisation technologies for real-time videos. Snapchat acquired Looksery in 2015 for a hefty US$150 million and later introduced their next big thing called Lenses, that use augmented reality technology to integrate 3D rendered elements into the camera picture. Snapchat Lenses was an instant hit among users after their in-house team built more than 3000 AR filters. They also launched a free desktop app called Lens Studio in December 2017 that helps both average users and advertisers to bring their creations to life. Two years later, they announced the 2.0 version, that can transform pets, hands, bodies and iconic landmarks around the world with the power of augmented reality. Although Snapchat entered rough waters in 2018 when a lot of users ditched the application after a re-design, it is now more popular than ever before: Daily Active Users (DAU) has increased 8% year-to-year to 203 million daily active users...(source-Internet) #Augmentedreality #Facefilters #Snapchat #Technology #businessmodel

The past few weeks have marked a turning point for Augmented Reality. While we may not have found the elusive "killer app," industry leaders like Meta and Snapchat are showing us compelling visions of how AR will seamlessly integrate into our daily lives. As an early adopter of both Bose Frames and Ray-Ban Meta glasses, I've long seen AR's potential to supplement and even replace smartphones. The recent Meta Orion announcement demonstrates that we're approaching a form factor that could drive mass adoption. The real game-changer? The convergence of: ➡️Advanced AI integration ➡️Improved hardware capabilities ➡️Acceptable form-factor ➡️Sophisticated processing power ➡️Rich data visualization This isn't just about technology – it's about transforming how we: ➡️Navigate our world ➡️Interact with information ➡️Connect with others ➡️Experience our environment ➡️Work ➡️Watch sports ➡️ ... The future of AR is looking brighter than ever. While we're not quite at the finish line, the path forward has never been clearer. The pieces are finally falling into place. What AR applications are you most excited about? Let's discuss in the comments below! 👇 #ar #augmentedreality #innovation #futureoftech #MetaOrion #digitaltransformation #xr
