In the ever growing email solicitation culture that seems to be replacing good old fashioned "real" relationship building, a new villain has emerged. I receive no fewer than 75 emails PER DAY with the subject line: "Tom, Quick Question" Quick answer ... "NO" I'm sure there are some analytics that suggest this works but I can't understand why or who would respond favorably to hundreds of these per week from a seemingly infinite number of solicitors. I'd much rather have a conversation with you. Am I crazy...?

Large Numbers Cold calling boils down to one major thing: a lot of activity. You can put the best caller in the world on the phone and if he's only making 2 calls every day, there's not going to be a lot of success. Conversely, if you're NOT very good on the phone, but you're making 400 calls every day, three things are going to happen, guaranteed: 1️⃣ You're going to talk to a LOT of people. 2️⃣ You're going to get a LOT of practice, and you're gonna get good fast, 3️⃣ You're going to book appointments & close sales. The law of large numbers won't have it any other way. Plain and simple: you are GUARANTEED results if you just don't stop putting in the effort. With consistent effort, it's simply a matter of when. ⏳ #isa #realestate #coldcalling #listings

Great insight into why you shouldn’t ask if it’s the prospect on the other line Another way of thinking about the scenario. If someone gave you another contacts number and said call them, you would call them and ask is this “contact name” you’d say hey “contact name” “so and so” gave me your number.
"Hey, is this Nick?" The worst call opener ever. Confirming if you have the right person hurts you: When you ask whether or not you have the right person, you make it extremely obvious that you don’t actually know the person’s voice and you’re a stranger (aka, a telemarketer). If they end up not being the prospect you thought they were, trust me that they’ll correct you.

A call always feels a lot more personal than an email but not all clients have the same needs and preferences. You can probably tell if a client prefers a phone call or an email. If not, it’s always a good idea to ask them their preference and take note of it. Some clients may be too busy to answer a phone call, while others might miss an email if they receive a lot of spam emails. #BrokerProTip #InsuranceBroker #ClientCommunication #CustomerService #ClientRelationship

Cold calling pros - what is your preferred order of initial contact? Email first and then a telephone call? Telephone call and then an email? Either way it seems that maybe only 1 out of 10 phone calls is answered. The majority go to voicemail.

Quick tip Your email list is useless if you aren't using it. Remember. You have already paid for these contacts. Just one simple email is all it takes. You'll be surprised to find how many forgotten prospects actually need your advice. Ball is in your court.

When it comes to submission forms the more you ask for, the less you’ll receive. Every additional question you toss in there is a chance your prospect will say “No Thanks” and leave before submitting their response. Keep it simple and only request what’s absolutely necessary. For instance, if you’re not planning to give them a ring, why bother asking for their phone number, right? Stick to the basics – name and email address will do the trick. Start by sending them valuable info, and as you build that trust, you can gradually request more.

what is cold email A cold email is like a message you send to someone you haven't talked to before. It's often used for business to try to start a conversation and see if the person might be interested in what you're offering.

The way that you present your recommendation to your client is essential to converting things from a conversation, to an on risk case. Email? Telephone? Face to face? Every possibility listed? Narrowed down to your top two options? Knowing your clients personality, is key here!
