The reason we share these #labaccidents with others is because it serves as a real-world reminder that no lesson is too important and no task is too urgent that we cannot take the time to teach, learn and practice science safely. #labsafety #classroomexperiments #schoolscience #k12teacher #teachersofinstagram #sciencelab #elementaryteacher #elementaryschool #sos #dryice #dryiceexperiment

Playful learning is not a term or a buzz word. It is how children learn. In fact, it’s how we all learn best, even adults. Play is the way. It is the tour guide, the docent, the friend, the guide, the professor, the everything for kids. Adults are just used to sitting still and veiling their own discomfort with 1D learning. Children learn in 4D— dimension being the key 🗝️. Unlock learning. No need for a locksmith. It’s simple; play is the way to unlock learning. Moreover, learning through play sets the stage for whole-brain learning and fosters a love of learning. Kids deserve to be taught in their native language; all children are fluent in play. #flowtheory #learningtheory #education #bestpractices #thelanguageofchildren #brainbasedresearch #children #play #playbasedlearning #play #pedagogy #MihalyCsikszentmihalyi #constructionism #howchildrenlearn #teachers #professionaldevelopment #childhooddevelopment #studentengagement
