In my posts, I tend to explain the benefits of Power BI in project control from the Contractor's perspective. But the software is equally important for Consultants and Clients too. 🔵 As a consultant or a client, here is what you can do with Power BI: ✅ Process and issue a lot more notices of delays to the Contractor quickly and accurately. ✅ Gain instant progress insights about ANYTHING in the project during the progress meeting. Provide all answers and communicate progress issues without leaving the meeting (all you need is a laptop). ✅ As you can see trends quickly and easily, you can effectively identify areas of manipulations by the Contractor (I hate to say it but it is true - Contractors do manipulate schedule updates sometimes to achieve a favored outcome). ✅ You significantly reduce the review time and the constant friction of using P6 filters to review the Contractor's schedule updates submission.
