⭐Alcoholic hepatitis is characterized by liver inflammation, or swelling, resulting from alcohol consumption, which leads to the destruction of liver cells. ⭐This condition typically occurs in individuals with a history of heavy and prolonged alcohol consumption. However, the relationship between alcohol intake and the development of alcoholic hepatitis is complex. Not all heavy drinkers necessarily develop the condition, and some individuals who consume alcohol in smaller amounts may still be at risk. ⭐If diagnosed with alcoholic hepatitis, it is crucial to cease alcohol consumption. Continuing to drink poses a significant risk of severe liver damage and potential fatality.
