We’re thrilled to share that 23 of our outstanding Sysco Delivery Partners have been inducted into the 2024 The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Truck Driver Hall of Fame! 🎉 With decades of dedicated service, impeccable safety records, and a commitment to delivering with excellence, these colleagues have earned this lifetime honor. They embody Sysco's values, bringing smiles and top-tier service to our customers every day. The 2024 class will be honored at the IFDA Solutions Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, which is scheduled for September 22-25. Congratulations to all these honorees who help us connect the world to share food and care for one another.

At Sysco, we believe in the power of giving back. Sysco is proud to be a long-standing partner of the American Red Cross, donating nearly $2 million dollars since 2001 to aid their efforts. As disasters continue to increase in frequency and severity, individuals and families are depending on the Red Cross’s essential services even more. We recently donated another $10,000 to help aid their efforts following Hurricane Beryl in Houston. Sysco's purpose of "connecting the world to share food and care for one another" guides our actions and the organizations we support to make a positive impact in our community. Together, we're continuing to make a difference by providing essential support to those in need.

Meet Scott Boyer, the Marine veteran behind Philly Flats in Katy, TX! From starting a thriving food truck to serving at Houston's NRG Stadium and later opening his restaurant in 2023, his journey is as inspiring as his menu is irresistibly delicious. With top-notch ingredients, pride for his hometown in Pennsylvania, and a whole lot of heart, it's no wonder Philly Flats is a Katy favorite!

At Sysco, we're not just about delivering great products; we're also committed to developing the next wave of supply chain leaders. Our Future Leaders program, developed in 2022, is a testament to this commitment. Future Leaders is an initiative cultivating a pipeline of Field Operations leaders through immersive experiences and comprehensive training. This 40-week program offers a defined progression plan for newly hired college graduates, many of whom started as supply chain interns. Since its inception, we have: - Welcomed 25 Future Leaders to our site-based program - Created diverse career opportunities, securing permanent roles for the initial 9 participants; ranging from Supervisors to Finance Managers and Category Planners - Expanded to 16 active participants across 9 Sysco locations nationwide We are proud to say that our management trainees are well-prepared to lead and innovate in the ever-evolving world of supply chain management. We look forward to seeing how they will shape the future of Sysco and the industry at large!
