Do you want to prioritise wellbeing, but every time you launch an initiative, it’s amazing while it lasts but then fizzles out? We get it. 🤗 The secret lies in creating a lasting impact! I remember when I created my first ever Community Mental Health Action Team I was determined to do it well. I didn’t want to create something and then find a few years later we would have to start all over again. This is a common frustration for so many people when creating new initiatives. If we want to truly impact and improve mental health & wellbeing outcomes in our communities there are some key strategies we can utilise to create sustainability and long lasting effects. 1. Spend time developing a good foundation rather than rushing into actions 2. Utilise some key actions to create buy in from your community so that you “bring them along” on the journey 3. Researched in Foresight's Mental Capital and Wellbeing Project commission at nef (the new economics foundation) in 2008 based on research from across the world.
