We strive to strengthen the tech community by facilitating workshops and networking opportunities 💡 That is why we recently hosted AarhusJS a local Aarhus-based group, for an inspiring evening about using Storybook to enhance UI components 👨💻 During the event, Systematics’ Senior System Engineer Anders Holm discussed his UX and UI design work in mission-critical healthcare and military domains. Anders also shared his passion for continuous development and understanding customers’ needs on user-friendly frontends. Additionally, Jørgen Skogmo, Co-Founder of DearStudio, presented his 20+ years of experience with creative coding and emphasized the importance of significant data in well-thought-out digital design. I'm so excited to be speaking at the next Natter Community event. I hope some of you can make it. In my talk, I'll explain why words matter and how to ensure they make the right impact. We'll explore the crucial differences between Brand Vision and Tone of Voice and how to use words, writing styles, and more to connect, build trust and make delightful digital experiences for all. I'll also explain the different types of copywriting and when best to utilise them, how to make copy more accessible, what poor copy looks like and how words help shape UX and Experience Design. Words have the power to connect, convince, include, educate and inspire; when was the last time you considered yours?

🚀 Reflecting on my journey in tech and UI design! Despite the rapid advancements, interfaces seemed stuck in the 1980s. But guess what? Change is here, and it resonates with my personal growth. The 21st century brings an interface renaissance, breaking away from the norm. Excited to contribute to this evolution, where technology becomes an intuitive extension of our thoughts. Tiny step today with #mxlint extension: Open domain model in the editor from the scan result list. No need to find the relevant document in your explorer. Open the document with single click, fix the issue and save. Next up: - support all document types - better UX; can you help us? Over the weekend we found mxlint.com domain was still available. It’s not anymore 😁 Interested to see more of this? Register for our meetup on this topic: https://lnkd.in/e4w-sPHu #mendix #eveninghacking

Here is a link to the recording of last week's conversation. What was most resonant about the conversation with Milan Mijatovic, Samuel Proulx and Louis Rosenfeld.... Accessibility in the user experience will be fueled by more research with a broader range of people - with a focus on optimizing the user experience across customized experiences. UX researchers are not report writers alone. We now curate programming, experiences, and connection with users. This is an expanded skill set that depends on more collaboration and communication. Quantitative and qualitative research methods must become a part of the toolkit for more UX researchers as we do more with fewer people. Data fluency is a critical skill. https://lnkd.in/gXpTSa_K

Hey Connections! Today is DAY 45-47 of #100DaysofUIUX under edam I have learned about the → Identify a problem → Competitive Analysis IDENTIFY A PROBLEM: In these,I have learned how to identify a problem and I improved my skills to solve a problem that is faced by the User. →COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS: Competitive analysis is a valuable process in UX design that involves systematically evaluating the digital experiences offered by competitors within a specific industry. It goes beyond merely analyzing visual aesthetics and delves into the intricacies of functionality, navigation, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction. Competitive analysis is the process of comparing your competitors against your brand to understand their core differentiators, strengths, and weaknesses. It is a critical part of the research process. It provides an in-depth breakdown of each competitor’s market position, sales and marketing tactics, growth strategy, and other business-critical aspects.
