Technology for life

Right—looking at both far-right and far-left politics—it is surprising that both aim to address the same core issues, yet the far-right blames the left, and the far-left blames the right. However, a key difference has emerged in the past decade: while the left seeks to reform institutions, albeit still holding hope and optimism in the system, the far-right sees the system as collapsing, failing the very people it seeks to protect - why its more willing to use violence and its members prone to being radicalized. What I find most interesting is how #MAGA, with its call for reform and its perception of a breakdown in American democracy and views of a corrupt elite is very legitimate. Yet, the anxieties and grievances of these populations have largely ignored over decades and instead been weaponized not only against themselves but against the long-term interests of the people and the very democracies and institutions built to protect them. The weaponization of these segments of the population both coincides with, but also acts to disenfranchise them - creating a deadly cycle; eventually the pot boils over; there are releases. Yet the cycle continues - calling them #thugs, while refusing to address the core issues fueling these crisis. Furthermore, the continous haphazard and nefarious application of divisive politics by the powerful puts at risk the future of our nations but the world at large. We sit at critical moment in our history. We the people must understand—whatever our differences, the path forward must be one where we march together. However large the bridge between us appears - let us understand at the end of the day, we all seek the same thing: peace and our rights to pursuit happiness.

Moving forward..

The wisdom of Maya Angelou is known globally and her impact is unquestionable. I was drawn to this quote while thinking about my own coaching journey, and my Why? I began coaching in the 1990s, while leading and building my team of distributors to 300 throughout the UK. The challenges weren't just about maintaining the channels of communication so that I was available to support the individual dustributor when they need it, the reliance on being available, and ready to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in to help members of my team who themselves wanted to build their teams, and mainly at the weekends. This meant extensive weekend travel to various locations in the UK. However, my biggest challenge of all was running that business and bringing up a young family concurrently. I will always remember the struggles to find suitable and trustworthy cover to take care for my children, and if I ever had a reason to give up that would have been it. Balancing the love for my children and the love for what I did, helping others succeed, was at times like climbing a mountain without the correct tools, harnesses, helmets, etc. This had brought me to many crossroads, where my decision-making ability often under went much scrutiny. On every occasion, the decision was, giving up 'is not an option! ' What helped me to continue to do what I loved were - having a mentor, who was also my accountability partner - having a plan - gaining the knowkedge of how to execute my plan - having and exercising self-belief and self-discipline - building resilience and faith - doing the work required Looking back, I feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction that I helped my team and, myself, to reach some big goals/milestones in business, and being recognised and awarded for our achievenents, many times over. This is because I had pursued doing what I love. One of the most significant shortcomings one can have is failing to make an attempt. This can occur when one is afraid of failure or feels that the risks are too great. It is essential to recognize that not trying at all can be a more significant failure than attempting and not succeeding. Inaction can result in missed opportunities for growth and learning, as well as the chance to achieve one's aspirations. To avoid this, it is vital to take calculated risks, learn from failures, and persevere towards one's goals.

What's WRONG with social media. Here you go - I don't want to sound pessimistic, but would we be celebrating "her" if she lost the Paralympics? I think we celebrate "success" more rather than "struggle"!! Living with a disability is an achievement itself, let alone competing and winning a medal in Paralympics. However, I must also add - "when one has nothing to lose, they have everything to gain". I don't think disabled people have much hope in India. It's great that she got recognized early and got this opportunity. It'd be a shame if people use her as often happens with disabled people for all the money and fame. We must not compare ourselves and look down to feel better - "Oh, if she can do it without arms, I can do it too, at least I've both". Believe it or not, that's what such social media posts conveys esoterically. They are made not motivate or inspire but rather to demotivate and shame oneself for not being "famous and successful". A classic loop of Maya. An ordinary wo/man's life has its own challenges and struggles which can't be neglected by comparing with a disabled person. We shall celebrate "her" for not giving up on life and actively succeeding in it despite all the setbacks, not just her "success". #success #failure #life #disability #physical #psychological #challenges #struggle

In Our Own Words: Taking Dreams to Reality.....

this is for those who say TOXIC BOSS.. MICRO MANAGER ETC.. FEEL proud of you that atleast you have job .. ! Prove the worthiness.. Just make up your mind for the honest work.. rest God gives power to solve any problems at work...! Yad bhavam thad Bhavati!.. How we think.. we are !! we will be!. most of the intelligent employees fail as we waste time by thinking how to show the other man as zero performer..or by trying to show that equal level other people are failed ! Many think and plan how to reply boss and give excuses so that the responsibility goes to other departments! With all these games we can play a safe game for few days only.. But if results won't come .. all will be affected.. So nothing will happen to me in a business centre is a big foolish thought! This is why accepting people for who they are is first quality for a Department head ..it's not personal likes or dislikes ..likes caste .. community.. or language etc.. Any unity or friendship at work place is only till the risk comes for any ones position!.. So we need to work and produce results..This makes us to live with peace of mind ! Then no need to blame boss or management or any one else.
